The BOURDALOUE is a beautiful tribute and reinterpretation of the classic french tart by the same name.
Chef Marc’s creation features an almond frangipane (almond cream), slices of poached pear, and whole pears resting on top of our signature sweet dough tart shell. The pears have been gently poached in an artisanal syrup made of orange zest, lime zest and Grade A- Madagascar vanilla bean before being re-baked and garnished with 24K gold leaf. This tart is the perfect combination of sweet and fall spices, sure to warm your heart as the leaves begin to change.
